Ensuring that rural communities have access to mental and physical health checks is the main objective of the Rural Health & Wellness initiative, being launched this year. The enterprise is being run by the Carr Family Foundation, founded by the owners of the highly successful agri-business, Carrfields. Chairperson of the trust, Stacey McKerchar says that ‘the Foundation is a 100% charitable trust that will be funded from allocations contributed annually from its parent company.
